SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - The Sibley-Ocheyedan baseball team ran into a mighty Sioux Center offensive attack Thursday.
The Warriors scored multiple runs in all but one inning to defeat the Generals 14-4 in five innings of Siouxland Conference action.
The night started out on a positive note for S-0. A three-run first inning put the Generals in command 3-0 before Sioux Center even had a chance to hit.
Unfortunately for the visitors, Sioux Center put up four runs in the home half of the inning. It evenutally put the game away with a five-run fifth.
Kyle Green took the loss on the hill for the Generals. he allowed eight earned runs on 10 hits while striking out seven and walking four over four and two-thirds innings of work.
Logan Heibult and Preston Marco led the Generals at the plate as each went 2-for-3.
