Zachary Rozeboom completed 10 of 13 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns to lead his Sioux Center, Iowa, high school football team in a 31-0 shutout of the host Sheldon Orabs Friday night.
Friday was the first day of the regular season for northwest Iowa high school teams.
In other area games, MOC/Floyd Valley nipped visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan 13-12, host Remsen St. Mary's drubbed Harris-Lake Park 44-15 and visiting Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley topped Central Lyon/George-Little Rock 35-7.
MOC/Floyd Valley ran up a 13-0 score over the Generals through three quarters. Remsen St. Mary's outscored Harris-Lake Park 24-8 in the second quarter to take a 32-8 lead into halftime. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley scored in every quarter against CL/G-LR, jumping on top 14-0 in the first stanza.
