JACKSON -- Jackson County Central won its opening South Section 3AA volleyball playoff game on Thursday night against St. James Area.
Game scores were 25-18, 25-8, 25-13.

Sadie Voss led the Huskies in kills with 13 and she added two digs. Alaina Wolff had five kills and went 8-of-11 serving with four aces and six digs. Georgianna Wenzel had seven kills and went 12-of-13 serving with two aces and two blocks.
Regan Farmer had eight kills and six digs for JCC, Jordan Rogotzke went 9-of-9 serving with 24 set assists. Cali Cranston went 15-of-17 serving with three aces and three digs. Megan Gallagher went 7-of-10 serving with two aces and five set assists, and two digs.
Windom 3, New Ulm 1
WINDOM -- Windom Area advances to the next round in the South Section 3AA tournament with its win over New Ulm.
Game scores were 25-11, 25-15, 23-25, 25-13.
Katelyn Nichols had 23 kills for Windom Area and four solo blocks. Autumn Hauge had 14 kills and two blocks, Shelby Erickson had eight digs, and Halle Jackson had 25 set assists. Reegan Elder went 18-of-19 serving with an ace and 12 set assists.
In other South Section 3AA matches Thursday, top-seeded Marshall defeated Worthington 3-0 and Pipestone Area beat Luverne.
Action resumes Tuesday with Marshall hosting Pipestone Area and JCC hosting Windom Area.
