Jenson, Nickel win for Worthington in tennis

PIPESTONE — Ivy Jenson at No. 3 singles and Riley Nickel at No. 4 singles won matches for the Worthington High School girls tennis team on Thursday in a bout at Pipestone.

PRIOR LAKE — Prior Lake defeated Worthington High School 7-0 in the first round of the Section 2AA girls tennis tournament on Tuesday. The Trojans qualified for the sectional on Monday after defeating New Ulm 4-3 on Monday, but the next step was too much to make.
WORTHINGTON -- Finding themselves in a rare position, the Worthington Trojans snapped a two-game boys soccer losing streak Tuesday night at Trojan Field, beating New Ulm 4-1.

Pipestone Area prevailed finally, 5-2.
