MORGAN -- A nine-run third inning launched Worthington's American Legion baseball team past Morgan 14-1 on Thursday.
Derek Lee and Ethan Duffy combined to hurl a five-inning one-hitter for Worthington (2-1).
Lee went the first three frames, fanned a batter and yielded the hit.
Duffy came on for the final two and struck out three. He also batted three runs in on a 2-for-4 night at the plate.
His teammates Stuart Rogers (double, two RBIs) and Derek Busswitz (double) were each 2-for-3. Adam Munkel also had a pair of RBIs.

On Monday, Worthington will travel to Springfield for a doubleheader.
