LUVERNE — Breaking free from a slim 5-point lead at halftime, the Luverne High School boys basketball team outscored visiting Adrian/Ellsworth 47-32 in the second half for an 80-60 victory Monday night.
Gavin DeBeer scored 18 points for Luverne, Gannon Ahrendt had 16, Carter Sehr 15 and Tyson Connell 11. Ahrendt scored 12 of his points in the first half, and Sehr scored 11 points in the second half.
Brock Henning led Adrian/Ellsworth with 20 points. Preston Vortherms had 13 and Mechack Ndikubuntu scored 10.
