Marshall comes from behind to beat Worthington in Sr. Legion game

MARSHALL — The Worthington Senior American Legion baseball team lost a lead against Marshall on Tuesday, falling 3-2.

Post 5 led 2-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, but a couple of dropped balls led to Marshall getting three unearned runs.

Triston Sauerbrei pitched a strong game for Worthington.

Thursday's scheduled game at Fairmont was canceled because Fairmont has a prior commitment.

Next up for Worthington is the playoff season. Information will be forthcoming.
