WORTHINGTON -- Worthington Trojan Sarah Boever was recently named to the Class AAA all-state girls' basketball team. Teammates Holli Aggen and Gabby Boever received honorable mention for the Trojans, who finished as Southwest Conference champions with a 21-5 record.
In Class AA, Pipestone Area's Faith Tinklenberg was placed on the all-state squad, while Jackson County Central's Brooke Burmeister received honorable mention.
Les Knutson, head coach of the fourth place (state) Southwest Star Concept Quasars, was named the Class A Coach of the Year. Brooke DeWall, a senior post for the Quasars, was awarded all-state honors, as was Adrian's Sam Lynn.
