FULDA -- Host Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda routed Red Rock Conference foe Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey in a boys basketball game Monday night, leading 34-15 at halftime and moving out from there. The Coyotes led by as many as 34 points in the second half.
Eli Fest scored 36 points with six rebounds and six assists for HL-O/F. Carter Drent had nine points, five rebounds and six blocks. Sawyer Drent scored seven points and Zach Thier added six.

HL-O/F is 5-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

EDGERTON -- In a tight game between the Big South Conference Pipestone Area Arrows and the Red Rock Conference Southwest Christian Eagles, the Eagles prevailed. The two teams were deadlocked 30-30 at halftime.
Carter Van Hulzen scored 21 points with nine rebounds and five blocks for Southwest. Hunter Vander Haar had 15 points and seven rebounds, Micah Schaap had 16 points, five rebounds, eight assists and four steals, and Zach Prins had eight points, four rebounds and four assists.
For Pipestone Area, Dawson Kellen scored 28 points while Kaden Musch had 13 points with 13 rebounds.
