EDGERTON -- Solid serving from Joslyn Birger and Kailey Rozeboom helped Hills-Beaver Creek overpower Edgerton Public in three games.

Scores were 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 29-27.

Birger was 20-for-20 from the line and Rozeboom was 15-for-15 with four aces. She also had 16 set assists. Whitney Elbers had eight kills and four blocks.

Ellsworth at S-O Invite

SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Ellsworth Panthers won two matches out of three at the Sibley-Ocheyedan Invitational.

Ellsworth lost the first match to Trinity by scores of 19-21 and 15-21. But next came a win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn 21-19, 16-21 and 15-13. Finally, Ellsworth beat host Sibley-Ocheyedan 21-19, 14-21 and 19-17.
