LAMBERTON — Alyda Vande Griend scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Edgerton High School girls basketball team outpointed host Red Rock Central 55-43 on Monday.
Miriam Ockenga had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Flying Dutchmen and Mateya Gilbertson had six steals.
Sondra Rindfleisch had a strong game for RRC with 23 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks. Teammate Ella Erickson added eight points.

Southwest Christian 80, A/E 30
EDGERTON — Southwest Minnesota Christian romped over Adrian/Ellsworth as Ana Veldkamp led the way with 24 points. Makenna Moss scored 10 points and had 12 rebounds. Jocelyn Barron had 19 points and Madyson Fey had 16. Makensie Pap dished out six assists for the Eagles.

FULDA — Moving out to a 39-4 lead in the first half, Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey breezed to victory over Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda. Brooke Naas scored 22 points and Julie Brinkman added 11 for the winners.
