Monday volleyball: JCC, HL-O/F win in straight sets; W-WG's Wahl gets 27 kills

Monday night high school volleyball roundup:
JCC 3, Fairmont 0
FAIRMONT — Emma Haren contributed 13 kills and was 14-for-16 serving with five aces to help Jackson County Central top Fairmont in three volleyball sets Monday night, 25-12, 25-6, 25-13.
Peyton Hanson had eight kills and put 11 of 15 serves in play with three aces. Maci Farmer had 29 set assists, two blocks and was 17-for-17 serving with one ace.
HL-O/Fulda 3, RRC 0
LAMBERTON — Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda rolled over Red Rock Central 25-14, 25-11, 25-6 to secure outright the Red Rock Conference championship. The Coyotes are 7-1 in conference play.
Lili Nielson had eight kills and three blocks for HL-O/F, and she was 100 percent serving with three aces. Sophie King had six kills. Sam Untiedt wsa 21-for-22 serving with eights aces. She also had 10 digs and 26 set assists.
For RRC, Sondra Rindfleisch had three kills and Maia Scheffler had eight set assists.
W-WG 3, MLA/C 1
WESTBROOK — Natalie Wahl was a kill machine for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, recording 27 on the night in a four-set victory over Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey. Scores were 18-25, 25-12, 25-23, 25-11.
W-WG's Addeson Jenniges ws 35-for-37 in serving, with three aces. She also had 42 set assists. Teammate Isabella Rentschler added 36 digs.
MCC 3, Edgerton 2
SLAYTON — Murray County Central defeated Edgerton 26-24, 25-17, 19-25, 27-29, 15-13 in a tight five-setter that went down to the wire.
Abby Loosbrock had 13 kills for MCC and Jaelen Barstad had 14 digs. Zoey Iverson and Kate Slettum added eight kills apiece, with Iverson getting 11 digs and Slettum 27 set assists. Casey Miller had 18 set assists for the Rebels.
