GRAND RAPIDS -- It wasn't a pretty game by either team.
But through all the miscues and mistakes, it was Minnesota West that came out with a 26-9 victory in a college football game on Saturday.
"We're always happy with a win," head coach Jeff Linder said. "But we're going to have to clean some of that stuff up."
Itasca scored two points on a returned PAT and then recovered a fumble and scored from 12 yards out for its nine points.
Joe Harris scored twice for the Bluejays (2-0), bringing his season total to five in two games.

Following Harris' first touchdown -- a six-yard burst -- West quarterback Teddy Joseph found Trayon Nash for an 87-yard score.
However, on the PAT, the Vikings blocked the kick and scored two points.
The Vikings scored on the fumble recovery in the third quarter before MW scored twice in the fourth.
Harris scored a six-yard TD and Jeff Curtsinger picked off a pass and raced 91 yards to paydirt as the Bluejays claimed a 26-9 victory.
Harris finished with 122 yards on 35 carries, while Joseph was 6-for-17 passing for 197 yards.
Nash caught four passes for 157 yards, while Ryan Thornton had two catches for 40 yards.
The MW defense also came up with big plays.
James Wright, Jarvis McKinley, Deshawn Johnson, Reggie Allen Jr. and Cody Gerhke also had interceptions as the Bluejay defense caused nine turnovers in the game. West had five of its own.

"I don't know what it is between our two teams, but it's always like that," Linder said. "They keep coming at you and they are scrappy. We put undue pressure on ourselves and that's when we started making mistakes."
MW will host Fond du Lac at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
