ST. CLOUD -- The Minnesota West volleyball team had a better start to Saturday's match.

But again, the Lady Jays couldn't score key points in a 25-16, 25-23, 25-23 loss to St. Cloud Tech.

"We were at like 20 or 21 and it was a race to five in the end and the other team started to pick us apart," MW head coach Marie Johnson said. "They found a few of our weaknesses.

"The girls are learning a lot more about how each person on the team plays and what they have to do to either encourage them or pick them up."

Michaela Wolff was a perfect 11-for-11 serving to lead MW, while Katie Hadler was 7 for 8.
