WILLMAR -- Minnesota West Community and Technical College wrestler Michael Preuss went 0-2 Saturday at the Ridgewater Open tournament.

Preuss, a freshman and Adrian High School graduate, was pinned in the second period of both his matches. It was his first college wrestling tournament.

Bluejays head coach Bob Purcell said Preuss handled the new level of wrestling well, and he attributed the losses in part to conditioning issues. The former AHS star got off to a late start this season.
