Nerem leads Red Rock in scoring, rebounding

Southwest Christian junior Maren Nerem leads the Red Rock Conference in scoring and rebounding.

Nerem averages 20.3 points per game in four conference outings, and she is pulling down an average of 18.5 rebounds per contest.

Karli Arkell of Red Rock Central and Jazlynn Prins of Southwest Christian are 2-3 in scoring with 18.7 and 18.5 points per game, respectively.

Camryn Bunting of Westbrook-Walnut Grove averages 12.3 rebounds per game, and Haley Wieck of Edgerton averages 12.0.

In assists, RRC's Bianca Weis is the leader with 4.7 per game. Margo Stoesz of Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey averages 4.5. Nicole Schroepfer and Lily Stavnes of RRC both average 4.0 assists per game.

Hills-Beaver Creek is 5-0 in Red Rock Conference play. Red Rock Central is 3-0. Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey and Southwest Christian are both 3-1. Adrian/Ellsworth, Murray County Central and Westbrook-Walnut Grove are all 1-3. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda is 1-4 and Edgerton is 0-3.
