PIPESTONE -- The Worthington Trojans were no match for Big South Conference opponent Pipestone Area in high school volleyball Thursday night.
The Arrows toppled the Trojans in the minimum three sets, winning by scores of 25-11, 25-17, and 25-20.
Sophie Wietzema had five kills and six digs for the Trojans. Tarren Spartz had five kills and went 9-for-9 serving with five points. Payton Sauerbrei had seven digs while serving 8-for-8 with three aces and five points, and Stephie Bauman had 10 set assists.
The Trojans play again next Thursday at home in a Big South Conference tilt against Windom Area.
