PIPESTONE -- The Pipestone American Legion baseball team stormed back from an eight-run deficit Tuesday to defeat Okabena 10-9 in the season finale for both teams.
Lon Eichenberger, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, delivered a two-run triple in the first inning to put Okabena ahead.
Tom Albricht hit a two-run home run in the third for Okabena, which added four more runs in the fourth to take an 8-0 lead.
Pipestone responded with five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and five more in the sixth to take a one-run lead.
Kirk McBreen went 3-for-4 with three runs, and Tyler Timko went 2-for-4 to lead Okabena, which had runners on first and second with one out in the seventh inning but couldn't produce.

Okabena earned the fifth seed and will face Windom at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Luverne in the first round of the playoffs.
