The Worthington Trojans high school softball team went toe-to-toe with St. Peter Thursday in Section 2AAA competition, but fell in the bottom of the seventh inning.
BUFFALO LAKE -- Tyler Jaycox shot an 86 Thursday on the first day of the Section 3AA golf tournament at the Oakdale Golf Club to qualify for the second day of competition.
WORTHINGTON — Heron Lake outscored the Worthington Cubs 19-12 in an amateur baseball game Wednesday. There were 33 hits in the game and 10 errors.
Sections 3A, and 3AA are drawn up and ready to go for Minnesota high school baseball.

ADRIAN — There were a few would-be heroes in Tuesday's high school baseball game pitting Jackson County Central against Adrian/Ellsworth. But the home team Dragons had the real hero.
WORTHINGTON -- In the Worthington Trojans topsy-turvy 2022 spring baseball season, Tuesday’s home game with Blue Earth Area on Tuesday looked like a classic case of one step forward and two steps back. After the Trojans played solid baseball Monday in a 6-2 win over Adrian/Ellsworth in Adrian, one day later they appeared much more turvy than topsy in a 19-6 loss to the Bucs.

The Worthington Trojans are seeded No. 7 in the upcoming double-elimination Section 2AAA softball tournament. All games are at Caswell Park in North Mankato.
MARSHALL — Brooklyn Scheitel-Taylor and Abagotte Opiew enjoyed good days on Monday at a six-team track and field meet in Marshall.
