SLAYTON - Cold April weather didn’t keep the Adrian Dragons and Murray County Central Rebels from playing baseball Thursday, and the Dragons emerged with a 5-1 victory.
Alex Loosbrock pitched a complete game for the victory, allowing four hits while walking four and striking out 10.
Kellen Johnson, who went six innings plus, took the loss. Brady Woldt finished up.
Michael Preuss walked four times for Adrian, stealing a base and scoring four runs. Logan Rogers drove in two runs and Mitchell Wagner was 2-for-4 with a double.
Paul Mesner was 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base for MCC (1-1). Johnson was 1-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI, and Brady Kremer was 1-for-3 with a run scored.
