WORTHINGTON -- Adrian and Murray County Central finished atop the Red Rock Conference baseball standings.

Not surprisingly, both squads led the all-conference first team selections with five apiece.

The top five in Adrian's order made the squad -- Lead-off hitter Tyler Hornstein, Brett Nowotny, Adam Diekmann, Justin Wolf and Luke Tiesler.

Adrian also had two honorable mentionees in Mitchell DeBoer and Ross Wieneke.

Diekmann pitched his way to an 11-1 record, including the win he picked up in this year's Class A consolation final. He also held a 2.04 earned run average during the regular season and mowed down 96 batters.

The center fielder Nowotny led the Dragons at the plate with a .422 batting average.

Tiesler had a .369 clip and posted a 6-0 record on the mound with a 2.38 ERA.

The catcher Wolf batted .368 and Hornstein held a .300 average for the Dragons (25-3, 10-0), who finished undefeated in conference play.

MCC, meanwhile, finished second in the conference standings and placed five seniors on the first team.

Derek Platt, Eric Wieneke, Tayler Streff, Alex Petersen and Kyle DeLong all made the cut.

Rebels Travis DeLong and Sean Solheim were honorable mention.

Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove was next with a trio of first teamers -- Shane Schoborg, Dylan Bunting and Logan Wilhite -- and three more honorable mention picks (Nathan Bierman, Daniel Maras and Zach Siemer).

Southwestern United's Luke Henkels and Alex Meyer each grabbed first team honors, while two more Wildcats -- Lukas DeWall and Garet Rogers -- made honorable mention.
