LUVERNE - Finishing a game postponed for earlier this year, and then playing a regularly-schedule non-conference baseball game, Luverne and Adrian split Monday night.
In the first game, which had been delayed, Adrian earned a 4-3 victory. Luverne, however, came back with an 11-1 victory in the nightcap.
In Game 1, which was suspended with the score tied at 2 in the third inning, Luverne scored one in the fifth to take a 3-2 lead. But the Dragons answered with two in the bottom of the inning en route to the win.
Logan Rogers earned the victory, throwing the final two innings and striking out three.
Tyler Reisdorfer suffered the loss, allowing four earned runs while striking out seven in four innings.
Alex Loosbrock had a hit and scored a run for the Dragons, while Landon Rogers was 1 for 3 with a triple and a run scored.
LHS was led by Jaxon Nelson, who was 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored. Connor Sandbulte had a hit and scored twice for the Cardinals.
In the nightcap, Luverne scored nine times in the first three innings to take a 9-1 lead. The Cardinals added one in the fifth and one in the sixth to take the 10-run victory.
Blake Baum earned the victory, allowing no runs on two hits while stirking out two in three innings.
Reisdorfer was 3 for 3 with two runs scored, while Cole Bosch had two doubles and scored twice. Sandbulte added a double and an RBI.
Michael Preuss had two hits and drove in a run for Adrian.
Luverne (10-9) is at Murray County Central today.

WINDOM -- There wasn’t much room for error for Windom Area.
Facing Marshall’s Drew Hmielewski, the Eagles managed one run on two hits in the game, which was stopped in the fifth due to weather.
Sam Huska had a hit and scored a run, while Devin Nielsen had a hit. Luke Gilbertson had an RBI for WA.
Huska started on the hill and allowed three unearned runs on four hits while striking out four in three innings. Gilbertson threw the final two innings and struck out three.
Hmielewski struck out 10 Eagles in five innings. Mason Penske, Hmielewski and Dylan Criquet-Danielson each had a hit and drove in a run for the Tigers.
