WORTHINGTON -- Ten local hockey players were named to the Southwest Conference's boys All-Conference and honorable mention squads for the 2011-12 season.
Making the All-Conference team were Luverne's Austin Maxwell, Skyler Wenninger and Cody Chirstensen. Windom's Adam Eisenmenger made the team as well as Worthington's Ethan Stofferan. Local athletes made up five of the 12 members of the All-Conference squad.
Luverne's Jonny Solma, Gunnar Olson and Kendall Meyer, along with Windom's Travis Janssen and Mitchell Baumhoefner earned honorable mentions.
