FAIRMONT -- The Trojans boys' soccer team traded blows with Fairmont in a high scoring first half, but a scoreless second half and scoreless overtime left the two teams with a 2-2 draw.
Fairmont took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal from Macree Colvin, but Worthington midfielder Juan Flores scored a goal off of a free kick just more than two minutes later to tie it.
Flores also added a go-ahead goal in the 38th minute, which was then countered with a goal by Fairmont's Ross Olson with 11 seconds left in the half.
The Trojans kept pressure on Fairmont goal keeper Matt Tennyson throughout the game, forcing him to make 32 saves, the last a difficult save with 10 seconds left in the second overtime to preserve the tie.
Jordan Balster made 15 saves in goal for the Trojans.
