CORWITH -- Harris-Lake Park beat Corwith-Wesley-Luverne 57-14 in their first game of the season Friday night.
H-LP jumped out to a 28-8 lead after the first half on the back of a kickoff returned for a touchdown by Eli Ihnen to open the game. QB Colin Brons passed for 199 yards and three touchdowns, while Kade Heikens ran for 120 yard on 12 carries for three touchdowns of his own.
H-LP picked up another touchdown in the second quarter, but also allowed C-W-L to score six more points.
But H-LP came right back after halftime to score 15 unanswered points in the third quarter with the help of Ihnen and Brady Van Ipersen. Ihnen made seven catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns, while Van Ipersen had three carries for 84 yards and one touchdown.
The fourth also went to H-LaP, who scored another touchdown to finish with 57 points on the night.
