WORTHINGTON -- The all-conference team for the Red Rock Conference was announced this week for girls' basketball.
Numerous area athletes made the squad.
Fulda led the way, with four Raiders earning all-conference accolades. Senior Courtney Hulstein, sophomore Melissa Gehl, junior Rachael Cheadle and senior Tiffany Gehl were all on the first team.
Other all-conferene players include Southwest Christian's Megan DeRuyter, Deidra VandeWoude and Amber Pater; Adrian's Sydne Springman, Austyn Their and Nichole Loosbrock; Edgerton's Sarah Post and Lindsey Drooger; Murray County Central's Crystal Van Iperen and Jenna Ness; Westbrook-Walnut Grove senior Paige Erickson; Ellsworth junior Bridget Kramer; Red Rock Central senior Klarissa Larsen; Southwest Star Concept senior Connor DeWall; Hills-Beaver Creek senior Katlyn Sandbulte and Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin junior Janessa Peters.
Honorable mentions include Fulda sophomore Brittney Heremling, SWC senior Michaela Zeinstra, SWC junior Hannah Van Dyke, Adrian junior Rachel Kontz, Edgerton freshman Tanner Gunnick, MCC senior Makenzie Giese, W-WG senior Anne Woelber, Ellsworth senior Abby Drenth, Ellsworth sophomore Alexa Huisman, RRC sophomore Cassandra Erickson, SSC freshman Courtney Place, H-BC junior Meghan Leuthold and ML/B-O senior Brianna Wenner.
