GARRETSON, SD - In a boarder clash, the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots picked up a convincing 53-37 win over the Canistota Hawks Saturday.
The Patriots’ top scorers were Avery Van Rockel and Sidney Fick. Van Roekel finished with a team-high 13 points and Fick added another 10 points.
With the victory H-BC advances to 8-3 overall and will host the MCC Rebels (0-11) Thursday.

Lennox 53, Luverne 32
GARRETSON, SD - The Luverne Cardinals kept it close through the first two quarters, but the Lennox Orioles outscored Luverne 24-5 in the third quarter. Luverne never recovered and lost 53-32.
The Cardinals were led by senior forward Nicole Kneip with nine points. Hailey Remme also had six points.
Bailey Jacobsma and Morgan Haugen hit the boards hard for Luverne. The two both finished with four rebounds apiece.
Luverne (2-9) will host Pipestone Area Tuesday.

Vemillion 65, Fulda 28
GARRETSON, SD - The Fulda Raiders took a tough loss Saturday against the Vermillion Tangers.
Fulda’s top offensive performance came from Katelyn Renneke. The senior center totaled seven points.
With the loss the Raiders fall to 2-11 overall and will host the Dragons of Adrian tonight.
