WORTHINGTON -- Worthington's freshmen duo of Allison Kremer and Betsey Thompson received honorable mentions for the 2012 All-State team for Minnesota girls' hockey as voted on by the media.
Worthington's girls' hockey team scored 32 goals on the season and Kremer and Thompson scored 28 of them, while assisting on six others. Kremer and Thompson both finished their freshmen seasons with 14 goals and three assists for the Trojans.
Luverne's Laura Christensen, Madisyn Dingmann and Makayla Sterrett also received honorable mentions.
Christensen led the Cardinals in goals and assists in her senior season. She found the back of the net 37 times, while dishing out 29 assists.
As an eighth grader, Dingmann scored 20 goals and dished out 26 assists for the Cardinals.

Also as an eighth grader, Sterrett was second on the Cardinals in goals with 26 and second in assists with 28.
