WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Stingrays youth swim team competed for the second time this season in home waters on Saturday, qualifying two swimmers for events at Regionals in the process.
In the meet, swum against the Albert Lea Tigersharks and the LeMars Stingrays, Worthington's Madison Neuberger and Cameron Jensen qualified for Regionals in the girls' 12 & under 50-yard breastroke and the boys' 12 & under 50-yard breastroke, respectively.
Neuberger won the girl's event on Saturday in a time of 40.80. She also won the girls' 12 & under 100-yard individual medley in 1:28.40, was second in the girls' 12 & under 50-yard freestyle in 31.56, and was a member of the winning team in the girls' 12 & under 200-yard medley along with Meredith Moore, Rachel Koller and Kattiana Armstrong.
Jensen won the boys' event in 42.19, won the boys' 12 & under 50-yard butterfly in 34.21, won the boys' 12 & under 200-yard freestyle in 2:34.49, and was a member of the winning team in the boys' 12 & under 200-yard medley along with Bryan Doeden, Nathan Johnson and Eli Gaul.
Nicole Janssen won the girls' 18 & under 100-yard backstroke in 1:30.65 and finished second in the girls' 18 & under 100-yard breaststroke. Macy Baerenwald won the race in 1:35.81.

Baerenwald won the girls' 18 & under 50-yard free in 31.85, followed in second place by Janssen in 32.86 and in third by Brittany Saulsgiver in 33.95. Baerenwald also won the girls' 18 & under 100-yard free, swimming the race in 1:15.09.
Saulsgiver won the girls' 18 & under 100-yard butterfly in 1:48.44.
Baerenwald, Janssen, Saulsgiver and Koller combined to win the girls' 18 & under 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:18.47. Baerenwald, Janssen, Saulsgiver and Rebecca Christensen won the girls' 18 & under 200-yard medley in 2:33.87.
Adrian Manzo won the boys' 14 & under 50-yard freestyle in 28.06, followed by Oliver Wolyniec in second place in 29.45. Manzo also won the boys' 14 & under 100-yard free in 1:05.21.
Manzo, Wolyniec, David Etzel and Matt Sorensen combined to win the boys' 18 & under 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:03.78.
Etzel won the boys' 18 & under 100-yard freestyle in 1:17.19. Sorensen won the boys' 18 & under 200-yard individual medley in 3:13.17 and won the boys' 18 & under 100-yard breaststroke in 1:27.69.
Sophie Wietzema won the girls' 8 & under 25-yard butterfly in 43.23, and was a member of the winning team in the girls' 8 & under 200-yard medley along with Maddy Shriner, Gracie Barber and Taylor Ponto.
Sammy Farra won the boys' 8 & under 50-yard freestyle in 1:06.68 and Bryan Doeden won the boys' 12 & under 100-yard freestyle in 1:23.26.

Ben Doeden won the boys' 14 & under 200-yard individual medley in 3:19.45, and won the boys' 14 & under 100-yard butterfly in 1:51.72.
Sarah Janssen won the girls' 14 & under 100-yard freestyle in 1:10.22 and won the girls' 14 & under 200-yard freestyle in 2:47.62. Tracy Prins finished third in the former and second in the latter.
Tim Skog won the boys' 18 & under 50-yard freestyle in 27.33, and teamed up with Gordy Moore, Dillon Pedersen and Sorensen to win the boys' 18 & under 200-yard medley.
Cheyanne Bos, Sydney Ponto, Kaitlyn Baustian and Grace Moody won the girls' 10 & under 200-yard medley.
Kyle Janssen won the boys' 10 & under 100-yard individual medley in 1:45.39, followed by Blaine Doeden in second in a time of 1:47.80.
Barber, Shriner, Wietzema and Gabrielle Chapulis won the girls' 8 & under 100-yard freestyle relay.
Jenson, Gaul, Porter Elsing won the boys's 12 & under 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:21.62.
Rounding out the first place finishes for Worthington was the relay team of Anwar Farra, Blaine Doeden, Jacob Neuberger and Kyle Janssen, who won the boys' 10 & under 200-yard freestyle relay.
