TYLER -- The Murray County Central Rebels swept the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights Friday night in non-conference volleyball action.
Kristi Bose, Abby Van Meveren and Macy Halbur each had five blocks as the Rebels won by game scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-17.
Makenzie Giese led MCC (1-1) with 11 kills, followed by Bose (10 digs) with six kills and Van Meveren with five.
MCC's setter Brooklyn Schmitz had 19 set assists, while the Rebels' libero Elissa Reinsma recorded 26 digs.
Halbur scored nine points on 11-for-12 with an ace from the service line for MCC, which travels to Round Lake-Brewster Thursday.
