ST. PETER -- Southwest Star Concept played six matches in Saturday's volleyball tournament.
But the place it finished came down to one point.
SSC finished undefeated to win the tournament.
The Quasars (11-5) defeated Rochester Lourdes 25-18, 25-7 in their first match of the day.
They then beat St. Peter 25-14, 25-14 before facing a tough St. Clair team.

Each of the teams won a set, with SSC winning 26-24 and St. Clair winning 27-26. However, the Quasars won based on the one point differential in scores.
SSC then cruised to a 25-22, 25-12 victory against Prescott, Wis. and downed previously undefeated Nicollet 25-18, 27-25.
The Quasars capped their tournament with a 25-14, 25-17 victory against Minneapolis Washburn.
Katey Granstra led SSC with 49 kills, while Jen Schmidt had 32. Courtney Place added 18 kills in the tournament.
Kelli Schmitz had a team-best 55 set assists and Many Henkels had 45.
Place led the Quasars at the service line. She scored 54 points and had 23 aces. Granstra had 46 points and five aces, while Schmitz had 33 points and four aces. Maddie Rasche had eight aces.
Granstra had seven solo blocks to lead SSC, while Alyssa Hendrickson had four.
Place had a team-high 30 digs, while Rasche had 23. Jordin Elness (19) and Schmitz (17) each contributed for the Quasars, who travel to Adrian on Tuesday.
