WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Trojans have earned the No. 2 seed in the Section 3AA South volleyball tournament and will host Luverne in the first round of the playoffs.
The Trojans will face the Cardinals Friday at 6 p.m.
Jackson County Central, which earned the No. 3 seed, will face Fairmont at 7:30 in Worthington the same night.
Pipestone Area is the fourth seed, and will face New Ulm Friday in Marshall at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of the first round games in the south will face off in Redwood Falls Oct. 28 at 6 and 7:30 p.m.

In Section 3A South, Windom earned the No. 1 seed.
Southwest Christian is the second seed, followed by Murray County Central and Southwest Star Concept, each of which earned byes.
Red Rock Central is the fifth seed and will face Round Lake-Brewster at 6 p.m. Monday in Luverne, while sixth-seeded Fulda will face Hills-Beaver Creek Monday in Luverne at the same time.
Westbrook-Walnut Grove is the seventh seed and will face Ellsworth at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Luverne, while No. 8 Adrian will face No. 9 Edgerton at the same time.
The winners of Monday's contests will advance to Friday's matches in Luverne at 6 and 7:30 p.m.
In Section 2A, Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin travels to face Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Monday.
