JACKSON - Four Adrian Dragons earned falls in a 44-14 high school wrestling victory over host Jackson County Central Friday night.
Beau Bullerman got it rolling the Dragons’ way at 106 pounds with a fall in 38 seconds over JCC rival Cole Kapplinger. After a major decision by JCC’s Justin Heckard at 113 pounds, Adrian’s Greg Kern pinned Grant Schlager in 1:05 at 120 pounds. Then at 126, Adrian’s Skylar Hieronimus pinned the Huskies’ Zach Poelaert in 56 seconds to give AHS an 18-4 lead.
Adrian also got victories at 138 pounds with Logan Nelson, 152 pounds with Michael Preuss (the team’s fourth fall) and at 170 pounds with Hunter Heitkamp. Teammates Mitchell Wagner (220) and Gavin Engelkes (285) won by forfeit.
Other wins for JCC were turned in by Jacob Tvinnereim at 132 pounds, Dalton Wagner at 145 and two-time state champion Keegan Moore at 195.

TRACY - Fairmont/Martin County West 285-pounder Mark Washa went to overtime to beat Sam Bauer 7-2 to give his team a 36-33 win over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove.
F/MCWs’ Luis Figueroa won by fall over Rylan Fogelson in 1:51 at 195 pounds to put his team on top, but TMB/WWG’s Cole Olson won by forfeit at 220 pounds to set up the decisive heavyweight match.
