ADRIAN - A senior-dominated Adrian Dragons wrestling squad won three matches at home Thursday, 45-28 over Canton, 51-12 over Tri Valley and 45-6 over Parkston.
Falls by Greg Kern (126 pounds), Logan Rogers (152), Michael Preuss (160), Matthew Slater (170), Landon Rogers (182), Hunter Heitkamp (195) and Gavin Engelkes (285) helped AHS rally from a 15-0 deficit past No. 1-ranked Canton, S.D.
More falls from Kern (126), Skylar Hieronimus (132), Logan Nelson (145), Slater (170), Rogers (182), Dylan Gyberg (220) and Engelkes (285) pinned their Tri Valley opponents.
Hieronimus (138), Nelson (145), Heitkamp (182), Gyberg (220) and Engelkes all won by fall against Parkston.
Also Thursday, Wabasso/Red Rock Central hosted Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial and New Ulm. Fresh off a victory Tuesday over a state-ranked Worthington team, W/RRC defeated LCWM 45-27 as Zeke Johnson (126), Cody Dudgeon (138), Brakken Bierl (152), Mitchell Fulton (160), Nick Altermatt (170), Cole Anderson (182), Devan Liebl (195), Jared Welch (220) and Cody Coulter (285) all earned victories.
Johnson, Fulton, Anderson, Liebl, Welch and Coulter all won by fall, with Liebl pinning his foe in just 30 seconds.
In the other match, New Ulm topped LCWM 45-31.
In northwest Iowa, Sibley-Ocheyedan won a pair of matches in a home meet, taking care of Rock Valley-Boyden-Hull 57-24 and West Lyon 45-17.
Matt Naig (285), Jordan Klein (113), Pedro Rodriguez (138), Dylan Schuck (145), Kyle Green (152), Garrett Sayler (160) and Trent Kruger (170) won matches for the Generals against RVBH. Justin Severson (113), Zak Stanton (120), Rodriguez (138), Schuck (145), Green (152), Sayler (160), Hunter Dejong (195) and Naig (285) won for S-O in the West Lyon match.
In another triangular, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock beat Sheldon/South O’Brien 48-22 and lost to MOC/Floyd Valley 34-31. MOC/Floyd Valley topped Sheldon/South O’Brien 52-24 in the other match.
Mitch Van Beek (138), Matt Matuska (182) and Austin Winkel (220) won two matches for CL/G-LR.
