Luverne 17, A/E 0
LUVERNE — Casey Sehr had three hits in four at bats with a double and three runs scored, and Riley Sneller was 2-for-2 with a double and six RBIs to help the Luverne Cardinals to a 17-0 win over Adrian/Ellsworth in high school baseball on Monday.
Zach DeBoer hurled three innings for Luverne and got the win. Adrian/Ellsworth used four pitchers in the game.
Softball
Minneota 9, A/E 2
ELLSWORTH — Minneota ran away from Adrian/Ellsworth in a fast-pitch softball contest as Claire Hoffman hit a triple and Kaylin Gibson had two hits.
Minneota out-hit A/E 8-4 in the game. The Dragons made six errors.
Leah Kruse pitched seven innings for A/E, walking six and striking out five.
