Trojan baseball team loses twice to New Ulm, 9-8 and 14-4

NEW ULM — The Worthington Trojans high school baseball team led host New Ulm 8-7 late in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday, but allowed two runs in the seventh inning to fall by a 9-8 score.
Then in the second game, the Eagles scored 10 first inning runs and earned a 14-4 win over WHS.
In the first game, Worthington's Coy Turner drove in five runs. Jake Brandner pitched five innings on the mound and walked three times at the plate. Isaiah Noble had two hits.
In the second game, Brandner and Noble had two hits apiece. Brandner also had three RBIs.
