WORTHINGTON -- A third-period goal at 5:56 lifted the Worthington Trojans into a 2-2 tie with visiting Austin Tuesday night, but Austin managed the game-winner at 8:35 for a 3-2 victory.
Worthington led 1-0 after the first period on a goal by Aubree Pederson, assisted by Makenna Nickel. Austin evened it in the second on a goal by Hailee Schaefer. Worthington’s third-period score was produced by Allison Iverson, assisted by Kessey Aljets.

Austin’s other goals were scored by Sarah Wangen and Isikyah Hemann.
Worthington attempted 28 shots in the game, compared to Austin’s 13.

Windom 6, Fairmont/MCA 1
SHERBURN -- Cragen Porath scored twice as the Windom Area Eagles defeated Fairmont/Martin County Area. Wriley Haugen, Wyatt Haugen, Brady Espenson and Zach Espenson scored single goals for the Eagles.
Both teams attempted 39 shots in the game.

AUSTIN -- Austin defeated Worthington 3-1 in Austin. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Trojans, who won both those games via shutout.
Caden Van Briesen had the lone goal for Worthington, scored in the second period. It came after a shot attempt from Konner Honius, and Van Briesen finished it on the rebound. Alec Langerud and Blake Ahrenstorff were credited with assists.
Officially, Worthington attempted 42 shots and Austin attempted 40.

Pipestone Area 62, SWC 55
PIPESTONE -- Merrick Heidebrink scored 15 points to help Pipestone Area to a seven-point win over Southwest Minnesota Christian.

Kellen Johnson had 12 points and Connor Zephier had 10.
Carter Van Hulzen scored 16 for Southwest, and teammates Dawson Rieck and Micah Schaap contributed 14 and 11, respectively.

WINDOM -- Things were looking OK for Windom Area at halftime as the Eagles trailed Blue Earth Area by just two points, 39-37. But the second half was won by BEA.
Henry Erickson led Windom Area with 21 points. Abe McKibben had 17 points and Josh Garrison 10.

MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Brooke Naas scored 28 points and 12 rebounds to give Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey a victory over Edgerton. Her teammate Jaci Tollefson finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.
Edgerton’s Alyda Vande Griend ended with 19 points and nine rebounds.
