S-O's Wasmund seventh at Okoboji meet

Sibley-Ocheyedan cross country runner Trevin Wasmund finished seventh in Okoboji Thursday, running the race in 18:26, 27 seconds faster than last year on the same course.

Teammate Keagan Van Westen was 13th in 19:14, and Carter Brouwer was 26th in 20:16.

Gehlen Catholic placed first with 53 points. Okoboji was second with 92, followed by Sioux Central with 106, Cherokee 135, Sioux Center 138, Sibley-Ocheyedan 153, MMCRU 168, ELC 198, Trinity 220, Emmetsburg 224, South O'Brien 242 and WBM 257.
