Saturday sports roundup: H-BC boys hold MCC to 26 points


Saturday boys basketball roundup:

H-BC 54, MCC 26

HILLS -- Jax Wysong scored 24 points, nearly the total of the Murray County Central team, and the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots outscored the Rebels 54-26 in a Saturday high school boys basketball game.

Cole Baker had 10 points for H-BC, which improved to 5-8 on the season.

Blake Schmitz and Chant Mitchell both scored six points for MCC.


Hills-Beaver Creek made 15 of 69 field goals in the game, compared to MCC's 10 of 56.

Adrian/Ellsworth 77, Edgerton 34

ADRIAN -- Ian Stamer scored 27 points to lead the Adrian/Ellsworth boys basketball team to a win over Edgerton. Peyton Lewis added 13 points to A/E's total and Noah Rehne contributed 10 points and seven assists.

Mason Gilbertson had nine points and Jacob Fischer eight for Edgerton. Fischer also had seven rebounds.
