WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Sports Booster Club is offering two $500 scholarships to senior student-athletes who exemplify effort, dedication, commitment and spirit to their team, school and community.
Applicants must be a senior at Worthington High School and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Athlete must have no athletic suspensions or code violations throughout the senior year. A letter or other supporting documentation must be submitted to prove future collegiate athletic participation is secured, and a typed application form must be submitted by May 1.
A letter of recommendation from a high school varsity coach, teacher or administrator must also be supplied.
Applications can be secured from the WHS counselor office.
