Three dance members to All-State WORTHINGTON -- Three Worthington High School danceline members have been chosen to perform in an All-State exhibition at Eden Prairie High School on Saturday.
Taylor Hastings will perform in jazz. Peh Tha Pwe and Fairy Apolo will perform in high kick. All three of the dancers have performed with the Worthington squad since they were seventh graders. Hastings has served as a captain of the local team for the past three years.
“It’s just amazing to watch the girls grow and blossom into the dancers that they are today,” said their coach, Caitlin Werder.
Every girl will showcase an individual dance at the state exhibition, then perform a selection with the other invitees.
WHS football team service day WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington High School football team has planned a service day.

The Trojans will be available to help people who need help with everyday chores. The goal is to help young people realize how important it is to help others.

Kairos grab first place Three area athletes are part of the Kairos Elite Volleyball Club of Sioux Falls, S.D., and placed first in the gold bracket among 24 teams in the 12-year-old division.
They are Elese Paplow of Lakefield, Samantha Untiedt of Okabena and Emma Rasche of Heron Lake.
