Springfield tops RRC in girls basketball; PA, T-M-B win

Tuesday high school girls basketball:
Springfield 59, RRC 49
SPRINGFIELD — Marissa Pabst scored 19 points and pulled down nine rebounds to help Springfield defeat Red Rock Central 59-49 in a girls high school basketball game Tuesday night.
Brooklyn Sturm had 14 points, six rebounds and five steals for the Tigers while Jasmine Peterson-Novotny scored 12 points and Madyson Digmann 10.
For Red Rock Central, Sondra Rindfleisch led with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Emily DeCock and Alyssa Cowan both added seven points.
Pipestone Area 60, SW Christian 52
PIPESTONE — Host Pipestone Area connected on eight of 16 3-point shots en route to victory over Southwest Minnesota Christian.
Arinn McGee scored 10 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for the Arrows, and teammate Jadyn Kor scored 17 points.
Makenna Moss had 17 points, eight rebounds and two blocks for Southwest, and Ana Veldkamp had 14 points and seven rebounds.
T-M-B 63, MCC 51
TRACY — Tracy-Milroy-Balaton took advantage of 37 Murray County Central turnovers to move to 2-0 on the season.
Jordan Munson, who scored 13 first-half point, finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals for T-M-B. Grace Dolan had 12 points.
Abbygail Overman and Jada Hellewell 13 and 12 points, respectively, for MCC.
