The Worthington Sr. Legion baseball team won twice on Tuesday, beating Heron Lake-Okabena 11-8 and Tracy 14-2.
Tate Gaul went 2-for-4 with three RBIs against HL-O and Michael Iverson had a double and three RBIs. Tommy Lais was 2-for-4 with a double.
Zach Bruns started on the pitcher's mound and went three innings, walking four and striking out four. Iverson pitched one inning and struck out three while issuing a walk. Daniel Pavelko earned the victory, walking none and striking out three in three innings.
In the Tracy victory -- a five-inning game -- Iverson was 3-for-3 with five RBIs while Nathan Van Orman and Kent Lais each rapped a two-bagger.
Van Orman was the winning pitcher, going four innings with four walks and eight strikeouts. Pavelko pitched an inning of relief.
