State boys basketball: W-WG finishes sixth in Class A

ST. PAUL -- The Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers were beaten by Springfield 91-61 in the consolation championship game Saturday morning in the Minnesota state Class A boys basketball tournament.

ST. PAUL -- The Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers were beaten by Springfield 91-61 in the consolation championship game Saturday morning in the Minnesota state Class A boys basketball tournament.

Springfield entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed.

W-WG opened the tourney with a 56-39 loss to North Woods, then defeated Cromwell-Wright 70-57 in the consolation semifinals.
