The Westbrook-Walnut Grove high school boys basketball team will open Minnesota state Class A tournament play Thursday against North Woods.

The game, to be played at Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, will begin at 5 p.m.

Other quarterfinal games -- all at Williams Arena -- include Spring Grove vs. Springfield at 11 a.m., Christ's Household of Faith vs. Henning at 1 p.m., and Cromwell-Wright vs. Ada-Borup at 3 p.m.

North Woods is seeded third in the tournament. W-WG is one of four unseeded teams.
