ST. PAUL -- Luverne High Schools girls 4 x 800-meter relay team and Pipestone Area's Michelle Neece earned first-place finishes Saturday at the 2018 Minnesota state Class A track and field meet at Hamline University in St. Paul.
Cardinals Regan Feit, Jadyn Anderson, Tenley Nelson and Brooklyn VerSteeg toured their 3,200-meter race in 9:29.56 for their title. Neece, who also got a fourth in the 100-meter dash, finished in 15.26 to win the girls 100-meter hurdles.
Worthington's Class AA competitor, Obang Ojulu, placed ninth in the boys' 300-meter hurdles.
