Students compete at Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot

WORTHINGTON -- Twenty-five students ages 8-13 participated in the free throw competition at the annual Worthington Elks Lodge 2287 Hoop Shoot at the YMCA.

The participating students were from Nobles and Jackson counties. One boy and one girl from every division advances to the district level to take place in Mankato this Saturday.

Top scorers in the girls division were Zadi Farmer in the 8-9 age group, Bree Luinenberg in the 12-13 group, and Autumn Luinenberg in the 12-13 group.

Top scorers in the boys division were Kaden Khamphauh in the 8-9 group, Dominic Meier in thet 10-11 group, and Anthony Quintilla in the 12-13 category.

Zadi Farmer was the day’s overall leading scorer with 19 of 25 attempts made.
