'Super Saturday' in Worthington on Saturday

basketball

Worthington District 518 will play host to four Section 3A girls basketball tournament playoff games on Saturday, Feb. 25. A ticket to one game is good for all day and for every game.
Many of the teams will travel and spend the day in Worthington. The WHS gym facilities have a Daktronics video board that is utilized for honoring our Trojan basketball team members during home games. For tournament play, the school does not have a “home team”, thus freeing up the video board to use for other information or advertising.

Marenono Opiew was a key factor on a deep Trojans basketball squad. His work ethic and attitude helped guide WHS to a memorable season.

Businesses have the opportunity to have their logo and information for $75 for the day on the video board for all of the girls basketball games this Saturday.
The boys tournament is also coming up and will have the option at that time to do the same. That will mean lots of exposure for only $150 by purchasing a video ad for both the girls and boys basketball tournaments.
The girls games scheduled Saturday are Southwest Minnesota Christian vs. Murray County Central or Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda at 11 a.m., Tracy-Milroy-Balaton vs. Hills-Beaver Creek at 12:30 p.m., Edgerton vs. Red Rock Central at 2:30 p.m., and Adrian/Ellsworth vs. Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 4 p.m.
