The Stingrays swim team performed admirably in its first meet of the season Saturday in Worthington. Local swimmers who improved in three of their individual events were Lance Gordan, Emma Haren, Samaria Maurer and Ben Schreiber. Swimmers Blaine Doeden and Anwar Farra in the boys 15-and-over 50 freestyle, and Schreiber in the 11-12 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke qualified for March regionals.
