TRACY -- As expected Tracy-Milroy-Balaton senior Ryan Tholen repeated as the individual boys' champion of the Camden Conference cross country meet Tuesday at the Tracy Country Club.
Tholen covered the 5,000-meter distance in 17:18, finishing 28 seconds ahead of MACCRAY's Taylor Bodin (17:46), leading the Panthers to the team championship.
T-M-B (1-5-7-8-10) edged Canby/Minneota/Lincoln HI (3-4-6-9-11) by two points, 31-33.
MACCRAY was a distant third with 71 points.
Backing up Tholen's performance were the finishes of Alex Jones (18:36), Joe Hook (18:54), Jeremy Hofleck (18:56) and Reed Salmont (19:08), who placed fifth, seventh, eighth and 10th, respectively.

Earlier, Panther freshman Karli Tholen raced to a fifth-place finish in the girls' 4,000-meter race, clocking a time of 16:50.
Tholen's effort spoiled a perfect score for C/M/LH. The Lancers (1-2-3-4-6) dominated the meet, winning with a low score of 16.
T-M-B was second with 72 points on scoring places 5-12-16-18-21.
The other four Panther scoring runners and their places and times were Haley Hebig (12, 19:03), Lauren Schaar (16, 20:20), Cecilia Trejo (18, 20:23) and Heidi Bengston (21, 21:04).
